UPDATE: 1 July 2020 – Our main production and engineering offices on Railton Road have now re-opened, and all design and fabrication work is back to pre-shutdown levels. We have implemented physical-distancing measures and sterilization protocols to protect our staff. Some members of our core engineering, systems and marketing teams continue to work remotely. Our fabrication lead times are now back down to our standard 4 weeks for stock items- although our supply chains continue to be affected, so out-of-stock items can have extended lead times.
[16 March 2020] The past weeks have seen some extraordinary developments, as Europe and the world respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. At Surrey Sensors Ltd., we remain committed to the safety of our staff and colleagues above all else.
Our business remains open and we will continue to process orders, although we do expect our activities to be affected by the preventative self-isolation of some at-risk staff members, and unavoidable interruptions of some of our European and overseas supply chains. This may result in longer-than-usual lead times, especially for custom, new or out-of-stock products. We will be providing regular updates on our news site www.surreysensors.com/news.
We thank you for your consideration and patience.
